Glenmalure Pure Mile Group and CUPHAT welcome all to a celebratory event on 19 August in the Glenmalure Valley. The event will commemorate the restoration of the Old Crusher House.

The day will start at 10:00 with a short walk to the Old Crusher House (from the Baravore Car Park) for a historic talk as well as an on-site demonstration of the building methods used to restore this monument to its current state.

This will be followed by two Citizen Science workshops hosted by the CUPHAT team. These workshops are aimed at children and adults where there will be interactive exploration of the rivers and geology of the area.

The day will finish with light refreshments, music and poetry at the nearby Hostel.

Please park at the Baravore Car Park only.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear for an outdoor event.

Participants may wish to bring a light lunch/snacks/drinks with them as required.
